We bought the batman cave for my son's 5th birthday. He saw it at the store and told us that was the one thing he wanted more than anything. Both my boys, 5 & 3 1/2 played with it everyday. There are so many little doors, elevators, etc., it's great for using their imagination. We, also bought him, a batman car and the batwing. Very entertaining, I would recommend all of it.
If I had to mention any cons, it would be the little arrow shooter. It doesn't stay in very well.

We bought this for my 4 year old son who is just beginning to like Super Heroes based on the great reviews here. It is an awesome toy! Tons of activities on the cave and lots of pieces to expand the fun. Best of all, NO BATTERIES and NO NOISES!!!

My 3 yr old twin grandchildren told me that they wanted Batman along with the bad guys for their 4th birthday. I was impressed to see the reviews of this toy so I immediately put it my cart. I also bought a bunch of the accessories with the "bad guys". They live several states away and my daughter admitted that her and her husband enjoyed placing all the characters in fight scenes. She says they played for about two hours before going to bed! Their excuse was they wanted every thing in it's place so when the kids came down the next morning it would be ready for play! She said that it was well made and seemed to be sturdy. I thought the age range of 4-8 was great, so hopefully it will be around for a while and keep them interested in adding to their collections!

My grandsons are 4 and 6 and they love Batman and pretending to be him. This is a great toy for them but it did not hold their interest for excessive time until they got more characters because there was only so much they could do with it. If they have the villians and other figures it's better. I suggest that the more superfriends they have, than the more stories they can create.
